TMT™ Tourniquet

The TMT™ Tourniquet (Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet) is a hemorrhage control device specifically designed for massive hemorrhage control of an extremity. Using lessons learned from the battlefield, the TMT is designed to ensure ease of application and definitively achieve occlusion. Taught as a self-aid and buddy-aid task, the TMT requires minimal training to instantly treat life-threatening hemorrhage of an extremity. Additionally, the TMT eliminates shortcomings found in other tourniquets.

The Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet™ (TMT™) PDF185 is a next-generation hemorrhage control solution designed for rapid, effective response in high-stress trauma situations. Engineered with input from military, law enforcement, and EMS professionals, the TMT™ Tourniquet allows for one-handed application in under 30 seconds, making it ideal for use in combat, tactical, or prehospital environments.

With its 2-inch wide constriction band, the TMT™ reduces nerve and tissue damage by requiring lower occlusion pressure, while still reliably stopping arterial blood flow. A dual locking mechanism ensures the tourniquet stays secure and maintains pressure under extreme conditions. The high-strength torsion windlass system emits an audible “click” when locked into place, providing tactile and auditory confirmation of proper application.

Constructed from durable co-poly resin acetyl and designed with IR and UV-resistant additives, the TMT™ Tourniquet is built to perform in the harshest environments. Compact and lightweight, it is an essential addition to any trauma kit, first responder gear, or military IFAK.
